Norman P. Camarda died peacefully, Sunday, October 9, 2011 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 74. He is the son of the late Vito & Josephine (nee: Church) Camarda and brother of the late Carmelia E. Greco, Frances Moore, Ignatius Camarda.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 35 years Linda G. (nee:Christiansen) son Norman Camarda II, daughter Michelle L. (Robert) Wagner; grandchildren Danielle (Ryan) Elbertson, Kathleen Camarda, Nicodemo Camarda and Jack Wagner “Pop-Pop’s best buddy and miracle grandson”, step-grandsons Jimmy and Justin Wagner; great-grandson Josh Elbertson; sister Gilda Boyles; sister in law Jennifer Camarda; brother in law Bob Moore and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Norman was a friend of Bill Wilson for 20 years. He was a lung cancer survivor thanks to the dedication of the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly.
Norman was the former owner the Razor’s Edge Barber Shop in Burlington City, and a graduate of the BCHS class of 1956 having just attended the 55th class reunion. Norman was President of Burlington Rotary and President of the Burlington Business Men’s Association.
