Norma Lou Busch of Parker passed away at 88 years of age on January 12th after a brief and almost painless battle with cancer.
Born on the 21st of July 1930 in the small northeast Iowa town of Andrew, Norma was the second of three children of Vernon Roeder and Helen Tebben. An airline hostess during the golden age of air travel for Trans-World Airlines, she met and married Robert Clayton Busch, the love of her life, in 1953. She and her late husband became parents to three daughters and a son, and during their marriage lived in nine states as they followed Bob’s career as a Salesman for E.I. Dupont finally settling in Colorado in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert Clayton Busch. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Jeane Hueneke of Bellevue, Iowa and her brother George LaVerne Roeder of Andrew. Three daughters, Linda (David) Ross of Norwalk, Connecticut; Paula (Frank) Arduini of Littleton, Colorado; Kathy (Greg) McCaffrey of Parker, Colorado; and one son, Robert (Ranjana) Busch of Naperville, Illinois. She is further survived by six grandchildren: Daniela (Seth) Andrei Starner, Alexandra Andrei, Amy and John Arduini, Anjali and Nisha Busch, and one great-granddaughter, Anna Kay Pocklington.
