Norma Lee Winters Paugh, 80, of Tarpon Springs, Florida died September 19, 2007, at Community Hospital, Anderson, Indiana.
She was born March 1, 1927, in Lebanon, Indiana, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred R. Smith. She was a resident of Anderson for 20 years before retiring to Tarpon Springs, Florida in 1975. Lee graduated from Lebanon High School in 1944 and moved to Anderson with her husband Myron “Duke” Paugh to open Dukes GMC Inc. in 1955. She also owned and operated Lee Paugh Realty from 1965- to 1975 and was an active Interior Designer throughout her career.
Lee was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Anderson and a member of both the Anderson and Indiana Boards of Realty. She was an avid golfer and active in the Anderson Country Club and Cyprus Run Golf Club of Tarpon Springs.
She is survived by a son, John Paugh of Anderson; a daughter, Dr. Beth Dr. Curtis Partington of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Jessica Paugh and Douglas Scott, their mother Sherri Paugh of Anderson and her former husband, Myron “Duke” Paugh of Ormond Beach, Florida.
