Norma Jean (Whetsel) (Bish) LeGault, 75, of Pendleton, passed away January 31, 2012 at Rawlins House Nursing Facility in Pendleton.

She was born July 25, 1936 in Madison County to the late Russell “Mark” and Ruth Mae (Garrett) Whetsel and graduated from Lapel High School in 1954. Jean had been a waitress at Grandma’s Restaurant in Pendleton for several years.

She is survived by sons Gary Bish of Pendleton and Jody (wife Karin) Bish of Plainfield; grandsons Michael Bish, Ryan Bish and Jacob Bish; sisters Joan Ballard of Florida, Carolyn (husband Phillip) Rapp of Pendleton and Martha Wallace of Fortville; brothers, Kenneth “Jumbo” (wife Phyllis) Whetsel of Ingalls and Richard Whetsel of Pendleton. Jean was preceded in death by her husbands Larry Bish and Lionel “Tiger” LeGault and brother Neal Whetsel.
