Norma Jean Pawling (nee: Embree) passed away at her son’s residence on Friday at the age of 83. She was born in Philadelphia and lived most of her life in Levittown before retiring to Florida and South Carolina. She worked as a bookkeeper for Bucks Co. Stationer’s for many years and belonged to the Levittown Women’s Club. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crafts, penny parties and doing volunteer work for various charities.
She continued to volunteer at St. Joe’s Hospital in Port Charlotte for breast cancer patients and having her own battle with breast cancer. Norma will be remembered for being a very caring and giving person. Predeceased by her sons Lawrence J. and Jeffrey S., she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of almost 60 years John H.; sons William G. (Janice) Pawling, Kathy Langlitz, John H., III; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many family and friends.
