Norma Leonard a Flagstaff resident since 1947 passed away in the Olivia White Hospice House March 1st 2008.

Norma was born November 7, 1924 in Hesla, South Dakota. Her family relocated to California were she met and married Bob B. Leonard. They relocated to California were she met and married Bob B. Leonard. They relocated to Flagstaff in 1947 where they eventually opened with Bob’s parents the popular eastside Miz Zip’s Café. Norma worked and baked pies on “Colleen the pie maker’s”, days off for many years. She loved the business and the people.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents and one sister.

She is survived by three sisters, Bernadette, Darlene and Barbara and one brother Darl, all of California.

Also surviving her are her three children, Craig Leonard and his wife Jude, Kent Leonard, and Dea Potter and her husband John, her four grand children Erin Page, Lori Leonard, Jacob Potter, Nicole Potter; and six great grandchildren.

The family request donations in her name be made to the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, building fund, where Norma had been a member and Sunday school teacher since 1947.
