Norma Jean Kirk, age 82, of Stonewood, WV passed away on Monday, December 07, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born March 14, 1933 in Clarksburg, WV; daughter of the late Price L. and Virginia Lee (Meadows) Ward.

Norma is survived by two sons, Michael E. Kirk & his wife, Trena, and Ron G. Kirk all of Clarksburg; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Kirk, Michelle Graham & her husband, Greg, Bridget Kirk & her companion, Tony Brown, Robert Kirk, Patricia Woods, Teri Myers & her husband, Chris, Ashleigh KirkAbel & her spouse, Liza, Matthew Kirk & his companion Tamara Ollom; thirteen great grandchildren, Zachary Wilhelm, Jacob Fincham, Andrew Fincham, Emily Graham, Cayleigh Graham, Nathaniel Graham, Brevan Brown, Patrick Woods, Lucas Woods, Hannah Woods, Kendra Myers, Caleb Myers and Harrison Kirk; beloved nephew, Edward Ward & his wife, Thana and Family of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; a niece, Barbara Anderson of Greensboro, N.C; former daughter-in-laws, Kissy Riffle of Clarksburg, WV and Cindy Graham of Martinsburg, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert C. Kirk who died on March 28, 1979; infant son, Robert David Kirk; and one brother, Lamont “Monty” Ward.

Norma was a graduate of Victory High School where she was a majorette. She retired from United Hospital Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nutter Fort, past Matron of Queen Esther Chapter #11 of the Order of Eastern Star. She also served as Grand Chaplin in the (Heavenly Blessings Session) Grand Chapter of WV. Norma was a diehard Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Her legacy is Faith, Family and Friends.
