Norma Jean Hoadley, 85 of Three Oaks, Michigan died Thursday morning, September 20, 2012 at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman, Michigan. Norma was born November 3, 1926 in New Carlisle, Indiana to Forrest and Pearl (Stump) Blosser. Her mother died when she was only 8 years old, her father remarried and Norma was raised by her father Forrest and step mother Goldie Blosser.
She married Glenn Hoadley on November 3, 1945. Norma was employed at Michigan Bell Telephone in New Buffalo. She and Glenn purchased Tom’s Body Shop in Three Oaks where she managed the office for many years. Norma was a member of the Randall Couchman American Legion Post 204 Auxiliary in Three Oaks and was a member of the Three Oaks Community Service Club and Loan Closet. She enjoyed spending time with her friends playing cards, bowling, golfing and traveling.
Survivors include her son, Rick Hoadley, sister, Debby (Larry) Anglemeyer of Niles, Michigan, several nieces and nephews, many friends, and Maggie, her beloved cat. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn in 2000 and also by 2 brothers.
