Norma Jean (Marteny) Farkas, age 64, of 131 E. Main Street, Grafton, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Grafton City Hospital. She was born at Wendel, WV, July 9, 1946, a daughter of the late Virgil and Ruth (Lewis) Marteny. Norma enjoyed yard sales, shopping and gardening. Surviving are: one daughter, Angela Winstanley, of Grafton, WV; two sons, Clay Marteny, of Euclid, OH, Jason Farkas, of Perry, OH; seven grandchildren; one brother, Roger Marteny, of Jefferson, PA; three sisters, Juanita Hinebaugh, of Geneva, OH, Ruby Marsh, of Margate, FL, and Dorothy Adams, of Madison, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: one daughter, Michelle Farkas, six brothers, Lewis, Ronald, Raymond, Carl, Bernard, and Francis Marteny; three sisters, Ada Casper, Edna Keffer, and Wanda Cleavenger.
