Norma Jean Dailey, 97 of Central City passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Odin Healthcare Center. She was born July 20, 1920, in Centralia, the daughter of Jesse E. and Lillian (Reese) Knight.
She married Joseph H. Dailey and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Sue Dailey-Queen of Centralia, grandson Korey J. Queen and wife Hilari of Centralia, and three great-grandchildren: Katie Queen, Kristen Queen, and Brian Queen.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters: Hilda David and Vivian Sorrel, and one brother: Philip Knight. Norma was a loving mother and grandmother. She had attended the Central City United Methodist Church until it closed. In her younger years, she was an office worker at her husband’s company D & D Trucking. She was also a Pink Lady at St. Mary’s Hospital for a number of years.
