Norma Jean Summers, 92, of Jackson, Louisiana, passed away on March 11, 2022. She was born to parents Bert Curry Campbell and Zora Rebecca Boyd Campbell, on April 26, 1929, in Laurel, Mississippi.
Norma Jean met Robert Lee Summers in Jackson, MS in the summer of 1945. They were married on April 18th, 1948, in Jackson, MS. Together they raised 5 children. She devoted her life to serving God and teaching the Bible.
Norma Jean is survived by her five children and their spouses, Larry (Joyce), Joyce (Bennie), Bob (Susie), Patricia (Bob), and Dorothy (Wray). She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 21 (+1 on the way) great grandchildren and 9 (+1 on the way) great great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy “Dot” Mattos (Joe).
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sara Elaine, husband Robert Lee, parents Bert and Zora Campbell, mother-in-law Martha Summers, and brother Herbert Campbell.
