Norma Jean Buck left this earthly realm on November 22, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. She was 60 years young. Norma died in her home surrounded by her children, sister and many others who cared and loved her.
It would be wrong to say that Norma lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Norma stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was simply no quit in Norma. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.
Most of all, Norma loved life and enjoyed seeing people just happy. Her contagious laugh will be forever remembered by many. Mother of two and known as surrogate mother to many; she loved and had many friends, but especially loved her children and two granddaughters.
Norma is survived by her son Jeremy, daughter Brittney (Jack Sterner), granddaughters: Alyssa and Amilia; her sister Brenda Haack (Dana Morton) and brother, Tom Haack Jr, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased were her husband, Dean A. Buck; father, Tom Haack Sr, mother, Laura Haack, and sister, Debbie (Haack) Richter.
