Jane Mensen, 88, of Salem, Illinois passed away January 24, 2020 at the Odin Care Center in Odin, Illinois.
Born February 7, 1931 in Benton, Illinois, she was the daughter of Henry J. and Pearl I. (Bookhout) Davis.
Jane, a homemaker, was of the Catholic faith.
She married Richard B. Mensen, April 24, 1951 in Breese, Illinois and he preceded her in death March 21, 2012.
Survivors include her son and wife, Rob and Beth Mensen of Salem, IL.
Also her grandchildren Jimmy (Kristen) Mensen, Ben (Kaela) Mensen, Richie (Mindy) Mensen, Erik (Amanda) Mensen, Krista Mensen and Kayla Mensen, along with 9 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Judy Mensen, and siblings Cecil (Betty) Davis and Jim (Doris) Davis all of Decatur, Illinois, Ronald (Tynna) Davis of Wichita,Kansas, Janice Scharnhorst of Houston, TX, and Lagatha Davis of Benton, IL.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by son Richard D. (Margie) Mensen and Michael Mensen, siblings Vernon Bookhout, Glen Davis, Leroy Davis, and Reita Metcalf.
