Norma Jane Crager Cloyd, age 84, of Clearfield, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018, at her home.
She was born February 19, 1934, in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Louie G. and Mary Ethel Stewart Crager. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tinsley M. Cloyd, Jr.; two brothers, Ralph David and Louie I. “Sonny” Crager; and one sister, Georgia Fern Crager.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Cloyd of Clearfield and Melissa Cloyd Carter and husband Odell Morris of Harrodsburg; five grandchildren, DeWayne, Clayton, Mary, Misty (and fiancé Nathaniel), and Cameron; one brother, Fred T. Crager and wife Cindy of Clearfield.
Other survivors include two sisters-in-law, Wilma Smith Crager and Lou Ramey Crager, of Clearfield; special cousins, Louie Mark Stewart and John Carter of Atlanta, Georgia, other relatives; and many friends.
Norma graduated from University Breckinridge and Morehead State University and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Retired from the Kentucky State Department of Social Insurance, Norma was a food stamp eligibility worker in the Morehead office for a number of years.
