Norma Jean Fredrick Phillips was born February 22, 1944 in Boise, Idaho.  Five weeks later she came home to a farm south of Rupert to her adopted Parents Albert and Bessie Eilers Fredrick.

It was on the farm that she thrived learning the life of a taking care of the animals they had and helping with the harvest.  She raised lambs for her 4-H project and won State Champion two years in a row. But her favorite pastime was riding her horse with her best friend Juliene Kerbs. They rode many miles around the neighborhood and along the Snake River.

Norma loved school and graduated from Minico High in 1962 and went on to the University of Idaho for 2 years.  She moved to Spokane, Washington and started her career in assisting in a dental office.  In 1974 Norma started working for Dr.

She met her soul mate and best friend Dan Phillips in 1990 and they were married in 1994.  Dan and Norma enjoyed fishing, gardening, and entertaining in the spacious back yard with friends

and family.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Dan, and her parents.  She is survived by her daughter Linda (Ken) Gaydusek; Kimberly (Bret) Parzychowski; and  Stacie Rettew.  Seven grandchildren and one great grandson, friend Juliene Kerbs and extended Phillips family who were so important in her life.

She was a dear friend and will be missed by all of us. RIP Norma.
