Norma J. Juillerat, 85, of Churubusco, passed away on August 23, 2021, at her home.
She was born in Fort Wayne, on April 27, 1936, to the late John and Irma (Knake) Ford. She spent her formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1954.
Norma was married to Larry Juillerat in Ari, on August 8, 1975. Larry preceded her in death on June 30, 1999.
As a young woman she worked at People’s Trust Bank in Fort Wayne and American Fletcher National Bank in Indianapolis, where she lived for a brief time. She retired from Smith-Green Community Schools in 1999, after 33 years serving as the Elementary Secretary and finally in the Superintendents office.
She was a member of Sugar Grove Church of God. Norma was active in the Smith Township Towasee Home Economics Club. She enjoyed the Boots ‘n Bonnets Square Dance Club. She also volunteered at the Embassy Theater in Fort Wayne.
Norma loved the Lord first. She also loved to travel in the states or abroad, but more than anything she cherished her family.
Norma is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Dennis) Konger and Karla (Roger) Linvill; a son-in-law, Michael Peelman; two stepdaughters, Michelle (Michael) Morris and Jill Keim; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Peelman; a brother, John Ford.
