Norma Eugenia Grant, 91, passed away to meet her Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 15,2017, at home surrounded by family. Norma was born to Oscar Troy White and Lillie Eugenia Campbell on April 11, 1926, in El Paso, Texas. She will lie in state from 1 to 7 p.m.
Norma graduated from Austin High School in El Paso, Texas as Salutatorian of the Class of 1943. She met and married the love of her life Sterling Grant on April 3, 1943. She secretly ran away with Sterling to Las Cruces, New Mexico to get married and to hide it from her parents. Sterling was being deploy to Wll. They were married for 66 years before his passing in 2009.
