She was raised in Woodward, and graduated from Woodward High School where she played basketball. She married Edward J. Norma was a clerk at the Post Office in Dallas Center for over 14 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and several bridge clubs through the years.
Norma’s life was centered around her family. She could be seen at any number of sporting events, plays or concerts that her grandchildren were in. “Granny” was their biggest cheerleader and supporter. Getting together for holidays, which often included a poker game, meant the world to her. Playing golf, playing bridge with her friends and cribbage with her kids and grandchildren were some of Norma’s favorite pastimes.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Edgewater and Bright Kavanagh House for the wonderful and loving care they gave our Mom and “Granny” over the last several weeks. You have all been wonderful.
