Painter, Norma Burkardt, 92, of Scottsdale, passed away peacefully at home of natural causes on August 26, 2011. Born in Denver, Colorado on February 9, 1919, she was a loving mother to Karl (Sonja), Vivian, William (Christy) and the late John Painter. Cherished grandmother of four, Norma was a devoted wife of 62 years to the late Kenyon Vickers Painter, who preceded her in death in 2005. Together they enjoyed extensive world travels and most of all spending time with their family.
