Tirado passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Age 72. Norma Anna Tirado was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on October 3, 1946, the daughter of the late Ismael and Lola (Collazo) Tirado.

She moved to Washington D.C. with her family when she was five years old, where she graduated high school in 1966. She attended college at InterAmerican University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She later attended Western Michigan University, where she received her Masters’ degree in Counseling and Personnel. She retired from the Allegan County Department of Health and Human Services. She enjoyed singing and dancing. She would often sing at the Allegan County Fair, at family weddings, and at other local events. She liked to travel with her family. She is survived by three children, Samuel (Jennifer) Ramnarine, Annalyne (Steven) O’Connell, and Phillip Ramnarine; seven grandchildren, Gillian, Cooper, Selina, Jacob, Brayden, Arrianna, and Brianna; one sister, Irma Cruz and one brother, Pedro Tirado; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Iris Ortiz and Delia Martinez.
