She was born January 11, 1934 in Freedom, Wyoming the daughter of Delbert and Susan Merle Nelson Schiess.
She married Ted Waldo Rich. Ted passed away August 7, 1999.
Noreen graduated from Star Valley High School in Wyoming. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the primary and was a dedicated visiting teacher.
