Noreen K. Shelton, 85, Anderson, passed away September 24, 2021, at her home. She was born January 12, 1936, in Anderson, the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Skehan) Chambers. Noreen graduated from the Holy Cross School of Nursing. She had worked as a surgical nurse at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson, retiring in 1994. Noreen was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering at the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Noreen was preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. Shelton, on June 15, 2015, her parents, and her brothers, Robert Chambers and David Chambers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Ron McDuffee; her grandchildren, Patrick Nice and Christopher Nice; her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Kelly and Linda Chambers; and her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
