We lost Norbert Harry Nash at 90 years of age on November 25, 2019 in Aurora, Colorado. He was a loving, funny and kind father, grandfather and uncle who will be sorely missed by all.

Norb was born on December 20, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri (to Fern Parks and Luther Cavaness), and lovingly adopted by his wonderful parents, Harry B. Nash and Clara A. (Meyer) Nash. He grew up in West Allis, Wisconsin and always said he was incredibly lucky to have had the perfect childhood, full of adventures and totally spoiled by his mother and Aunt Annie Nash.

After graduating from West Allis Central High School in 1946, Norb joined the U.S. Army Airborne Paratroopers and served in occupied Japan during WWII. Upon returning home, he met the love of his life, Phyllis Catherine Haag, whom he married on November 8, 1952. Throughout his life he worked as a talented, hard-working carpenter, builder, handyman and truck-driver.

Norb always had a story to tell and loved meeting people and finding out about their lives.

Norb is survived by his children, Craig (Teresa) Nash, Mary Kay (Rick) Allen, Brian (Khristy) Nash and Bonnie (Scott) Schutz; his grandchildren Derek (Jurema), Jason (Katie), Brandon (Jenn) and Ryan, Travis (Victoria), Jeff, Brianna, Josh (Marie) and Danielle; his step-grandchildren Nichole, Sarah and Steve; his great-grandchildren Bryce, Lexi, Konrad, Brandt, Hudson, Morgan, Alex and Maggie Jo; and his step great-grandchildren Claire, Brooke and Violet; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Norb was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis, his daughter Joanne, his infant son John, his sister and brother-in-law Ruth Eleanor and Earl Munger, and his parents Harry B. and Clara A. Nash.
