“Lil” Buddy” was born on June 20, 1938 in Town Creek, Alabama to the late Albert Jones Sr. and Laura Mae White Jones. He departed this life on February 25, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus surrounded by family.
Norah confessed Christ at an early age while growing up in Town Creek and was Baptist. He was a Machine Operator at Bunge North America and had a passion for gardening, hunting, fishing, the L A Rams football team and most of all and importantly, loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Jones Sr. and Laura Mae White Jones; son Norah Jones Jr.; granddaughter Christi Lashara Jones Marzette ; sister Lizzie Bell Jones Taylor (Robert) and brother’s Albert Jones Jr. and Billy Jones (Deborah) all of Hartselle, AL, brother George Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memory: loving wife of 54 blessed years, Ella Louise Taylor Jones of Hartselle, AL; four daughters, Teresa Jones (Will Rutland) of Huntsville, AL; Brenda Jones (Eddie Mitchell) of Decatur, AL; Angelia Jones of Decatur AL; Stephanie Jones of Hartselle, AL; one son, Jason Jones of Hartselle, AL; one double related niece Minnie Jean Taylor Warren (Jerry); six sisters, Mary Turney (Marvin) Huntsville, AL; Francis Hereford, Susie Orr (Jack) and Rosie Foster all of Hartselle, AL; Lila Mae Malone Decatur, AL; Annie White (Joe) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; two brothers, Johnny Jones (Eunice), Charles Jones (Thelma) all of Hartselle, AL; one grandson Christopher Sharpley of Hartselle, AL; two granddaughters, Victoria Jaylyn Jones of Moulton ,AL; Sanaa Goodloe of Hartselle, AL; three great granddaughters, Kara Oshner of Falkville, AL; Serena Sharpley of Decatur AL; Aubrey-Ella Sharpley of Decatur, AL; one great grandson Terence Marzette Jr. Trussville, AL and a host of close and special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
