On the evening of February 5, 2017, God looked down and saw that his servant Nora Alice Cummings had fought the good fight and kept the faith, and it was time for her to claim her heavenly reward. Known to all as “Licia”, she was born in Manchester, England to Sydney Robert and Catherine Harris Munson. Licia was a woman with a natural gift of gab who loved mixing with other people and found her nitch in the world in any job that begged for her outgoing nature. She had filled positions as a travel guide and in banking. Her buoyant personality made her a favorite with her customers. Her free hours were spent with family, sewing and knitting, with her beloved music playing.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years (who met her on a blind date) Bob Cummings. It was love at first sight. Also surviving are her children Anne Thrower, Nick Cummings and Sylvia, Katy Farvour and Maren, Aileen Kennedy and Steve. Her grandchildren are Joshua Smith, Andrew Schofield, Robbie Smith, Sydney Cummings, McKayla Daniel, Anna Daniel and Nathan Cummings.
