Those left to honor Nora’s memory include her husband, Walter of Newton; her son, John Druyff (and Nancy Palmer) of Newton; grandson, Michael Druyff (and Danielle Lester) of Newton; two sisters–her twin, Norma Baldwin of Newton and Edith Parmley of Grinnell; her nieces, Judy Heaberlin, Joyce Barrett, and Janet Dimit; and nephews, David Parmley and Paul Parmley.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie (Markmann) Schumann; a son, Don C. Druyff; and her niece, Joann Fauch.
Nora attended Sherman #5 Rural School and graduated from Newton High School in 1942. She was raised outside of Newton. After marrying Walter, they farmed South of Baxter for 30 years before moving to Newton in 1974.
