Nora Lee Vance, 87, of Grandview, MO formerly of Moberly, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Center Point Medical Center in Independence, MO. She was born October 12, 1929, in Moberly, MO to Oscar Samuel and Bertha (Craig) Swearngin.
She was a member of the Arborknoll Gospel Assembly in Kansas City, MO.
Nora married Raymond L. Vance on September 2, 1950, in Moberly and he preceded her in death on May 22, 1992. Also preceding her in death were her parents, brother Henry Swearngin, and sisters, Margaret Dooley, Pearl Crose, Catherine Johnson, Celestia Walters, and Mae Forth.
Survivors include her children; Rayma Stewart and husband David of San Diego, CA, Renae Stanton and husband Billy of Blue Springs, MO, Joe Vance and wife Mary Jo of Gardner, KS, Ray Vance of Kansas City, MO, and Carol Peach of Independence; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
