Nora A. Flagg, age 89 years, of Riverview, Florida, formerly of Plymouth and Medford. Happily married for 55 years to her sweetheart, the late Eugene F. Flagg Jr. Daughter of the late John and Helen (Lane) Downey. Born in Somerville on January 18, 1930, she was educated in Somerville schools and attended nursing school where obtained her degree in nursing. She worked as an LPN for over 40 years at the former Holy Ghost Hospital in Cambridge. Nora lived in Medford for many years before moving to West Plymouth with her husband Eugene. There she lived over 20 years before moving to Riverview, Florida, after the death of her husband. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and being in warm places. She was fond of dining out at different restaurants and loved being taken to Dunkin Donuts to enjoy her small black coffee. She was a loyal fan of sports, especially enjoying the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots and loved walking at the mall, exercising, taking care of herself, loving and enjoying her grandchildren. She is the mother of Deborah Saschuk of Riverview, FL, Elaine McCann & her husband Jim of Dedham & John Flagg & his wife Lori of Medford. Grandmother of J.T. Flagg, Jason McCann & his wife Ali, the late Paul Sachuk, Hillary Lee & her husband Cordale Lee, Meaghan McCann & her husband Cory Searle-Spratt, Zack McCann, Brigid McCann, & Patrick Flagg. Great grandmother of Kayla Flagg, Giselle Bermudez, Conor Flagg, Ryan McCann, Isaiah Lee, Aidan McCann, Brendan McCann & Nyla Lee. Sister of the late Robert, Jackie & Joseph Downey, Danny Downey and his wife Marie of Salem, NH, Joan Downey & Mary Downey, both of Hyannis.
