Noppanee “Noppy” Richardson, 76, passed on Nov. 1, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  Mrs. Richardson was born Feb. 16, 1945, in Sakhon Nakhon, Thailand, to Sai and Chardee Thaveegunt.

Noppy came to the United States in 1975, became a naturalized US citizen, and opened Tiffany’s Bakery in Santa Rosa Mall with her former husband, Jerry.  The eatery, which had undergone remodeling and was renamed “The Bakery Cart”, had been a staple in the mall through the early 1980s.  She later met the love of her life, Jim, whom she married in 1990, and went on to begin her career in real estate.

Noppy had not only dedicated her time and energy towards providing loving care for her family and friends, but she was also a selfless and giving member of the Greater Fort Walton Beach community.

Mrs. Richardson was an initiated member of Order Of The Eastern Star, Florida chapter #202, served on the Krewe of Bowlegs from 1985 to 1987, and had participated on the Fort Walton Beach Mardi Gras committee for the last 30 years.  She was a talented seamstress, loved her gardens, and had later in her life discovered a special affinity for Baby Yoda.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Sgt. Maj. (Ret.) James A. Richardson; her daughter, son, and their spouses, Rungsima and John Kokis, Satid and Alecia Kippenberger; step-sons William Richardson and James Richardson; grandchildren Alex Kokis, Austin and Shelby Aldridge, Zen Pyle, and Parker Kokis; great-grandsons Clark and Ethan Aldridge; brother Sawat Thawekan; and sisters Rhampasri Plensiang, Dr. Nilawan Chanthapreeda, Soi Malee Kraisoon, Kornkanok Seelanant, Naraporn Wongaphai, and Quanta Quintilliani.

She is preceded in death by her mother Chardee and father Sai; former husband Lt. Col. (Ret.) Jerome A. Kippenberger; Step-son Michael Kippenberger; grandson David Michael Kokis; and brother-in-law Michael Richardson.
