Nona Pearl Bolyard, 89 of Independence, WV passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at her son’s residence with family by her side. She was born February 11, 1927 in Newburg, daughter of the late Henry Hazel and Bertha Anise Herndon Goff. Nona graduated from Newburg High School, Class of 1945. She was a member of the Shays Chapel United Methodist Church. She worked during WWII at Ballard Aircraft in Arthurdale, WV which later became Ballard Furniture.
