Nolan V. Wilson, 75, Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at his residence with his family at his side. Born, June 8, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Elmer J. and Elizabeth  “Betty” (Kress) Wilson. Nolan graduated in 1959 from Greensburg High School and then did homes studies with CTC College Drafting, Delray Electronics, NRI Appliance, TV Course, and NRI Computers.

He was in the National Guard from 1960-1966.  He had worked for Cummins Engine from 1959-1961 and then he worked at BCA as a tool and die maker from 1962 until his retirement in 2004. He was a member of the Bethel Apostolic Church in Greensburg. Nolan was also a Boy Scout in his youth. His hobbies included: remote controlled planes, ham operator, woodworking, everything electrical, collector of MANY things. He had participated in bowling and softball leagues.

He enjoyed sporting events and was active in his grandchildren’s events. He was married to Carolyn S. Beckner on October 30, 1964 and she survives. He is also survived by four daughters, Melinda (Aaron) Mozingo, Holton, Cheryl Abrams (Rodger Shepherd), Greensburg, Vicki (Jim) Heck, Greensburg, Elaine Wilson and her fiancée Isaac Martinez, Odessa, TX; two brothers, Steve Wilson, Shelbyville, Glen (Linda) Wilson, Greenwood; one brother in law, George Beckner (Irene Smith), Rushville; six grandchildren, Ashley (James) Fisher, Phillip “Curtis” Abrams, II, Tony Wilson, Adrian Caster, Kyle Abrams, John Daniels.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Mary Beth Wilson; two sister in laws, Beverly Wilson, Janie Wilson.
