Noel Matthew “Matt” Allen, 49 of Bruceton Mills, formerly of Clarksburg passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at United Hospital Center. Mr. Allen was employed with West Virginia University as an Electronic Technician for the PRT. He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on June 29, 1961, son of Dellet George Allen of Clarksburg and the late Mary Almira Butcher Allen. Surviving are two brothers, David Mark Allen and Beth, Fairmont, George Dwight Allen and Terri, Bridgeport; two sisters, Colleen McCartney and David, OH, Cathy Garrett, Clarksburg; one uncle, Gene Allen and Gwen, Bridgeport and one niece and several nephews. Matt graduated from Fairmont State College with a Bachelors of Science Degree. He loved his cabin in Preston County and spent many weekends there and eventually made it his home. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his dog, Fang.
