Noe Andre “Andy” Charland, age 80, beloved husband of 52 years to Beverly (Becker) Charland of Milford entered eternal rest on October 13, 2017.
He was the son of the late Angeline (Martel) Charland and the late Leo and Bernadette Charland and was born on July 10, 1937 in S. Burlington, Vermont. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Andy worked at Sikorsky Aircraft for 42 years before he retired as a Facilities Manager. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Tinto Council #47, Fairfield County Electrical Association and served on the Milford Housing Board of Appeal and the IMTI board and various committee boards for the City of Milford.
In addition to his devoted wife, Andy leaves his loving daughter, Cheryl A. Dioguardi and her husband Carl of Shelton, two grandchildren, CJ and Mia, two brothers, David Charland of Nassau, NY and Arthur Charland and his wife, Harriet of Florence, MA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
