Noble C. Polley, Jr, 83, of Oaktown, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 31st, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes Indiana. He was born in Monroe County, Indiana on May 28, 1931 to Noble C. Polley Sr. and Mary Wampler Polley.
Noble worked several years at Indiana University and retired from there.
He is survived by his sisters, Jane Barker (Philip) and Helen Ennis (David) both of Bloomington; Sarah Ogilby of Wilmington, Delaware; brothers, Thomas Polley (Judy) of St. Paul, Indiana; William J. Polley of Springfield, MO, and Jerry R. Polley (Dianna) of Patricksburg, Indiana.
He is also survived by several nieces, great nieces and nephews, and several cousins. Noble was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary, of Ellettsville, Indiana.
