Mr. Hodges was born on September 4, 1941 in Trinity, Alabama to the late Noble Hodges, Sr. and Josie Fletcher Hodges. He departed this life on February 13, 2022 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Alabama.
He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Love Chapel C.M.E. Church in Trinity, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Noble and Josie F. Hodges, Sr.; four sisters, Rose Lee Hodges, Murlene Hodges, Willie Lee Hodges Birgans and Martha Ann Hodges Davis; one brother, George Edward Hodges; and one granddaughter, Miesha Hodges.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: one daughter, Faye (Rufus) Hampton of Decatur, AL; three sons, Noble (Teresa) Hodges of Leighton, AL, Robert (Shereda) Hodges of Muscle Shoals, AL, and Larry (Pam) Hodges of Harvest, AL; two sisters, Ruth (Billy) Scruggs of Decatur, AL and Ora Lee (Lewis) Langford of Huntsville, AL; special friend, Denise; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
