Noble H. West`, 79, Anderson, died August 14, 2003 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a brief illness.
He was born November 3, 1923 in Kirksville, Illinois, and was a resident of this area for most of his life. He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in 1999 as a Toolmaker after 54 years of service.
He was a member of Bethany Christian Church. He was Present Master of Frankton Masonic Lodge #607 as a 50 year member, Present Sentinel Grand Council Cryptic Masons of Indiana, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Temple Shrine, Indianapolis, Anderson York Rite Bodies. He was a member and Past President of Madison County Scottish Rite, Madison County Shrine Club, Sahara Grotto, Indianapolis, Honorary member of Quincy Masonic Lodge #230, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Anderson Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #154, Ivy Rebekah Lodge #381, Order of the White Shrine, Order of Amaranth, American Legion and Farm Bureau. He will be remembered for his gifts of $2.00 bills.
He is survived by his wife, Ardella Karns West; children, Sherry Moss of Kentucky, Terry West of Muncie, Dale Adams of Anderson and Charles & wife Lisa Adams of Anderson; brother, Win Leon West of Kansas; sister, Eva Harrington of Texas; three grandchildren, Michael Edward Adams, Cambrie West and Corrissa West; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his first wife Donna West and granddaughter Brenna Adams.
