Noah Tufono, age 81, of Forest Lake Drive, Jeffersonville, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, at his residence.

Born September 11, 1936, in McDowell County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late William and Goldie Kennedy Tufono. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Carl, Jack, and William “Bill” Tufono.

He is survived by two sons and their wives: Anthony (Veronica) Tufono and Micha (Hazel) Tufono, all of Jeffersonville; six grandchildren: Jessica Tufono, Justin Tufono, Quinton Tufono, Evan Tufono, Kelly (Dillon) Thornberry, and Grace Tufono; and five great grandchildren: Levi Thornberry, Braden Wybo, Jacob Evridge, Kayden Parks, and Vinny Tufono.

Other survivors include two brothers: Charlie Tufono and Lewis (Ruby) Tufono, all of Jeffersonville; two sisters: Elizabeth (Everett) Barker of Grant County and Mary Juett of Owen County; and several nieces and nephews.

Noah was a well-known carpenter and builder. He loved his family and especially enjoyed “spoiling” his grandchildren.
