Nita Faye Clark Giesler, 81, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 12, 2013, in Boerne, Texas, of complications from a hip fracture. She was a native of Sweetwater, Texas, and was born April 13, 1931, to Garland Felix (G.F.) and Helen Sawyer Clark. Nita attended Sweetwater High School. Nita married Daniel Lee (Dan) Giesler in the First United Methodist Church, Colorado City, Texas, June 28, 1948. Married for 64 years, they were always best friends; their bond was a partnership forged from love and laughter, enduring through life”s hardships and trials. Nita was constantly learning. She was a voracious reader, and always had a book or encyclopedia volume within reach. She was a talented artist, expressing her creativity through poetry, watercolor and oil paintings, and woodworking. Her last exhibited painting won the blue ribbon at the Jones County Fair and Exhibition.
