Nita Alice Leonard, 65, was promoted to Heaven January 29, 2013 in Canon City, Colorado. She passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born March 12, 1947 in Portland, Oregon to William “Bill” and P. Ruth (Stoute) Tilley. She graduated salutatorian in 1965 from Florence High School. Blessed with a beautiful singing voice, she made All State Choir and continued to use that gift to glorify her Lord throughout her life.
