Nina “Guin” W. McClain, 90, of Anderson, passed away July 23, 2014 at her residence in Anderson, IN. She was born September 22, 1923 in Bluffton, and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Nina graduated from Bluffton High School in 1941. She retired from Delco Remy, Division of General Motors in 1982 after 30 years of employment. She was a member of Chesterfield Christian Church, and was involved with Coats for Kids. Guin was an avid Indiana University Athletic Sports Fan.
Nina is survived by her children, Michael McClain (Debby) of Anderson, IN, and Connie Reed (Jim) of Valparaiso, IN; two grandchildren, Scott (Julie) and Todd (Cristi) Reed of Indianapolis; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Zachary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donovan McClain; parents, Forrest and Erma Woodward; brothers, Forrest Jr. “Frosty” and Wayne Woodward; and a sister, Wava Swartz.
