GROVELAND – Nina Santosuosso, 81, passed away on July 9, 2022, after a long battle with Parkinson’s.
Born in Boston and raised in Everett by her mother Lucia (Lucy) Vanella and father Joseph Vanella both born in Sicily. Nina was a realtor for 30 before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, reading, bird watching and bowling. Nina was the cherished wife of the late Christopher J. Santosuosso who passed in December of 2020. They lived in Groveland for over 20 years.
Her pride and joy was her family. She leaves behind her daughter Donna (Whitney) D’Amato and husband Anthony of Georgetown; adored grandchildren Marissa Henderson and husband Zachary of GA, Brianna DiStefano and husband Peter of Danvers, Mikaela D’Amato and fiancé Tom Zargaj of Amesbury and Anthony D’Amato, Jr. of Georgetown; great-granddaughters Ava and Ella. Also survived by siblings Marie (Vanella) Waller and husband Charles of Groveland and Joseph Vanella and wife Elizabeth of Tewksbury; several nieces, nephews and friends.
