Nina went home to Heaven on Sunday December 20th, surrounded by her loved ones. She joined her parents Virginia and Henry Fagan, her sisters Constance and Forest, and her daughter Michelle.
Nina graduated from Lakeville High School in 1967. She was baptized in 2013 at Clark Church in Elkhart, IN. Nina retired from the United States Postal Service after 37 dutiful years and made many lifelong friendships with the customers on her route. Even after her retirement, no one could slow her down. She continued to keep herself busy with multiple part time adventures. Each Summer she could be found in her garden or working in the yard. She was a legend with baking cakes and could whip up any request sent her way. Nina was always up for any adventure and enjoyed traveling to see friends in Arizona, on trips with the Postal Service, and to visit her grandchildren. Nina had a kind and caring heart for every living being. She was known not only for her love of cats and dogs but her ability to rehabilitate any creature who found their way into her care.
Her tenacious spirit will be carried on through her husband Robert Jennings of Osceola. Her children: Wade (Sharon Brooks) Jennings, Cheryl (Brian) Bennett, Delbert (Jodi Kleinsmith) Jennings, and Cristy (TK) Kaniewski. Her grandchildren: Christan Eby, Kara Burch, Rachel, Megan, and Dominic Jennings, and Brook Bennett. Her great-grandchildren: Arya and Ridley Burch, and Paxton Ligon. Her siblings: MaryJean Pitman of North Carolina, Carolyn and Lynn Kaser of Ft. Wayne, Henry “Butch” Fagan of Lakeville, and Pat (Lyle Christ) Fagan of Honor, MI. Nina was an amazing woman, her absence on earth will only be blessed by her presence in Heaven.
