Nina Ellen Tubbs-Steele, age 28, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 6, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Nina was born June 7, 1993 in Northport, Alabama to Laura “Becky” Stanley. She married Dan Steele Jr. on October 15, 2017 in Pittsville, WI.
Nina enjoyed being with her family. She was a loving wife and mother and loved doing things with her son. She loved spending time outdoors, especially in fall. There was a lot Nina enjoyed about fall, including the smells of pumpkin spice and her favorite holiday, Halloween. Nina liked playing online video games. She loved anything to do with frogs and collected frog items. She even had a few pet frogs over the years. Nina was loved by many, but had an especially close relationship with her pappy.
Nina is survived by her husband, Dan Steele Jr. and their son, Rowan Riley Steele; mother, Laura “Becky” Stanley; sister, Mya Stanley; grandmother, Sheila Stanley; aunt, Lorrie (Rodney) Clark; uncle, Aaron Stanley; cousins: Garrett (Samantha) Meggs and their son, Lincoln and Weslee (Audrey) Meggs and their son, Elliot; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Sarah (William) Firth and Dan Sr. (Tracy) Steele; sisters-in-law: Ashley Steele (Chris Scott), Michelle (Anthony) Boyd, Tiffany Firth, Elizabeth Firth, Willa Firth, Fiona (Jacob) Avila, and Mickaela Bergeland; brother-in-law, Brandon Steele; and many close friends including: Alexis Yasmeen, Kayla Stewart, and Natalia Ortiz Hargrove.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Jim and Doris Maidens; grandpa, David B. Stanley “Pappy”; and uncle Anthony “Tony” Meggs.
