SOUTHBURY- Mrs. Nina Cole Lautenschlager, 89, of Southbury, formerly of Woodbury, died Friday August 5, 2011 at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late William S. Lautenschlager, Jr.
Mrs. Lautenschlager was born February 4, 1922, daughter of the late Francis and Ruby (Freeman) Cole. She graduated from Woodbury High School and worked at The Denominator Company, Inc.
She leaves two sons, Thomas C. Lautenschlager and his wife Kathleen, Dr.R.A. (Richard) Lautenschlager and his wife Wendeline Price, a daughter Diane E. Blackburn, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 14 brothers and sisters and a son in-law, David E. Blackburn and 8 half brothers and sisters.
