On Tuesday, January 5, 2016 God call another Angel home, Nicollette Seconda Yates-Keys, departed this earth and transitioned to her heavenly home at the age of 40, after fighting a long battle with Lupus. 
 
Nicollette was born to Verstella B. Yates and the late Robert Herman Yates on February 5, 1975 in LaPlata, MD and resided in Indian Head, MD.  She was the youngest of two children and the sister of Anastasia Adams.  She united in holy matrimony to Brian M. Keys and leaves to cherish her memory to her devoted husband of 22 years; three children, Bryant, Niquisha and Noelle Keys.  She was also survived by her mother and father in-law, John and Mary Perkins, two brother-in-laws, Jimmy Adams and Delonte Perkins; one god-daughter, Paris Petticoles; one step-daughter, Renee Muschete; two nieces, Fabia Adams and Zaniya Perkins, two nephews, Justin Adams and Erick Perkins; and a host of relatives and devoted friends.
 
She graduated from Henry E. Lackey High School and continued her studies at Charles County Community College before entering the workforce in the Early Childhood Development field.  She then later decided to become a home care provider to her husband and children after being diagnosed with Lupus. 
 
Nicollette was caring, strong-willed and determine to live her life her way.  She truly loved her family and enjoyed family activities, such as, eating out, watching movies, playing video games, listening to music and loved to sing.  She enjoyed most going on family excursions, especially going to Lexington Market in Baltimore, MD.
