Nicole Forbes-Lambert (affectionately known as Michelle) was a blessing to a mother who dreamed of having a second baby girl to raise just like her, since she had lost her first daughter Luann, a mere 3 months after birth. Born July 17th, 1964 to Lester and Verna Mollineau, Michelle was the little girl in pigtails that lit up the entire family. As a young girl she attended Bishop Anstey Junior School and then completed her education at Southeast Secondary High School.
Michelle was a helpful spirit. Soft spoken with a stubborn streak, she was a loyal friend, a fighting advocate for her family and a gentle soul. It was this helpful spirit that led her to pursue a career as a Dental Hygienist. However, the little island of Trinidad & Tobago was not large enough for her dreams and aspirations. In pursuit of an improved life for herself and her children, Michelle emigrated to New York City in the late 90s. There she would continue the work she found satisfying.
Yet again the world called and Michelle moved with her Mother Verna and children to Indianapolis, Indiana where she truly flourished.
First and foremost, Michelle was a fiercely dedicated mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to the wellbeing of her children Akil and Akila Forbes and grandchildren Jabarri, Jordan, Abrielle and Anthony. She treasured and embraced every moment with them and especially loved her role as Grandma. She had a vivacious personality, with a mischievous streak and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and her clients at her house cleaning and home health aide business loved her as well.
Nicole was the sister to: Stephon, Michael, Derrick (deceased), Allison, Luann (deceased), Carlton, and Kelwyn; Sister-in-law to: Hyacinth, Karen, Allison, Beverly S., Beverly P., Evette, Lystra, Josephine, Joanna, Bernadette, Donna. Aunt to: Kimberlyn, Reuben, Levi, Crystal, Leveeann, Candace, Carla, Carlton Jr., Jahi, Careem (deceased), Carrill, Kareal, Michaelann, Simeon (deceased), Carlon, Malique, Caleb. Niece to: Uncles Osmond, Errol (deceased) Ancil, Frank, Hyacinth.
