Nicolaus Salvatore Moehle, 7, of Portage, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, July 25.
Born in Kalamazoo on August 19, 2009, he was the son of loving parents Jeff and Jill (Pachla) Moehle, and brother of Benjamin Charles. Nicolaus attended 12th Street Elementary School, Portage, and St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, also in Portage.
Nicolaus loved the company of friends and family. Blessed with an infectious sense of humor, the always energetic Nic also developed an early interest in building with Legos and in Minecraft. Naturally creative, silly, and fun-loving, he enjoyed swimming, family bike rides, eating carrots and, most of all, spending time with family.
Nicolaus was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather Charles Moehle. He is survived by parents, Jeff and Jill Moehle; brother, Ben Moehle; grandmother, Judy Moehle; grandparents, Gerald and Diane Pachla; great-grandfather, Salvatore Loria; uncle, Chip Moehle; uncle, Marc (Carey) Pachla; and cousins, Madeline and Josie Pachla.
