Travaglini1952~2021Nicola “Pop” Travaglini, age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his residence in Broomall, PA. Nicola was born on August 11, 1952 in Castelfrentano, Italy, to Giuseppe and Elvira Travaglini. He came to the United States at the age of 15 and began working immediately in the concrete industry. With his brother, Domenico, they built Travaglini Bros. Inc. This family run business has been a part of the Marple-Newtown community for over 40 years. Nicola met his one and only love, Carla at the age of 18. He was a devoted husband to her for 48 years. He was the pillar of strength for his two sons, Michael (Jennifer) and Joseph. Proud Grandfather of Sean, Alyssa, Justin, Allegra and Michael. Brother of Domenico (Dolores) and sisters Domenica (Norino) and Concetta (predeceased by Vincenzo), as well as many nieces & nephews and their children, relatives and friends.
