Nick Polidora, 90, of Southwest Greensburg, died, Saturday, February 27, 2021 in Greensburg Care Center.  He was born on December 20, 1930, in Connellsville, a son of the late Nicola and Lucy DiLallo Polidora.  He was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  He was a veteran and served in the Marines.  Prior to retirement, he was a Pennsylvania State Trooper with Troop A, Greensburg.  Later he worked for Greensburg Central Catholic in the maintenance department.  He was a member of South Greensburg American Legion, Post 981, where he was a member of the honor guard for 30 years.  He enjoyed fishing and was an avid runner and ran 5K races, including the John Woodruff 5K.  He was a proud graduate of Connellsville High School and was a season ticket holder for Falcons football games for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Regotti Polidora; also, 6 siblings. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Colligan (Paul), Evelyn Miles (Mark) and Laura Carr (Donald); 2 sisters, Mary Nagy and Lucille Polidora; 2 brothers, Anthony Polidora and John Polidora; 5 grandchildren, P.J. Colligan, Nathaniel Colligan, Sean Colligan, Renee Miles and Nicole Carr; also, several nieces and nephews.
