Nichole Heller passed away Friday, May 21, 2021, at her residence in Henry, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Seth Heller.
She was a 2011 graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in foreign languages and psychology after three years. She spent an exchange year attending Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany while living in the home of her host family, Frank, Andrea, Christian, Ela, and Mathias Pechhold. During her time at UIC, Nichole participated in the Big Brother Big Sister program and also mentored international students adapting to college life in the United States.
Nichole was a 2008 graduate of Metamora High School, graduating after three years. During high school, she was a host sister to Michaela Pechhold of Berlin, Germany, and Trinidad Marin of Chillan, Chile.
Preceding Nichole in death are her paternal grandparents, Leonard and Earlene Stone of Cleveland, OH; her maternal grandfather, Tilio Primo, of Sheffield, IL; and her uncles, Richard Stone of Cleveland, OH; Gary Primo and Larry Primo of Sheffield, IL.
In addition to their son Rhett, Nichole is survived by her parents of Germantown Hills, IL; her maternal grandmother Harriett Primo of Sheffield, IL; and Seth’s parents, Patti and Kirk Heller of Knoxville, IL.
Nichole is also survived by her aunt Karen (Russell) Asmus of Richmond, VA; uncle William (Connie) Stone of Chagrin Falls, OH; aunt Debbie (Mike) Stier of Sheffield, IL; and cousins, Angela (Jared) Ramos of Stuarts Draft, VA; Stacey (Anthony) Aniello of Omaha, NE; Jennifer (Justin) York of Sheffield, IL; Tony Primo of Bradford, IL; and Jeff (Lynn) Primo of Omaha, NE.
She was well-traveled, embraced learning foreign languages, had a passion for music, and was well-loved by her family and friends. Nichole was a devoted wife and loving mother.
